THE ENTRANCE BEACH CLOSED AGAIN DUE TO EROSION

The Entrance beach was closed for the second-straight day, after it was deemed unsafe.

The recent wild weather has washed away sand, leaving rocks exposed.

That’s despite Wyong Council spending $100,000 last year to pump 20,000 cubic metres of sand onto the beach.

It’s been an ongoing problem for the local surf club – last summer the beach was closed for 45 days.

A permanent breakwall is planned as a long term solution.
