NORTHERN TABLELANDS LAND VALUE STEADILY INCREASE

The value of land across the Northern Tablelands has shown a steady increase over the past few years, according to the latest notice from the New South Wales Valuer General.

Residential and rural properties in Armidale have strengthened by five per cent in the last 12 months, however there’s been a slight drop in the commercial market.

Uralla has seen a 4.45 per cent increase over the last four years, bringing its total worth up to $737 million.

“Quality land north west of Uralla has shown slight increases, but values for land east of the New England Highway and hobby farms have fallen slightly.”

Land in the Gwydir Shire has remained steady over the past three years and is worth a total of $1.29 billion.
