In a blow to the club, Nick Fitzgerald has decided to part ways with the yellow and blue, after debuting for the Mariners back in 2010.
The 23 year old was part of the 2013 championship winning squad but has been on the outer this season.
It follows reports fellow midfielder Anthony Caceras is close to a deal with the Manchester City Group.
