Tamworth’s Salvation Army opened its doors to the community today for a special Christmas lunch.
Santa did the rounds, and gifts for all ages were made available for guests to take home to their families.
A traditional meal of turkey, ham, pork, vegetables, and of course pudding for dessert, put a smile on residents’ faces ahead of the big day.
“I think it’s very important and Christmas really is about giving isn’t it…Let us give something back to the community and the community love giving, Tamworth is a beautiful community.”
