Faster internet will soon be available for residents in Uralba, with Ballina Shire Council approving the construction of a new communications tower, as part of the National Broadband Network’s rollout.
The structure had previously been rejected, since it would breach the nearby airport’s airspace, and NBN Co wouldn’t agree to indemnify the council.
But it’s now been approved without any changes.’
