WOOTTON MAN CHARGED FOR BREAK AND ENTERS

A 49-year-old Wootton man remains behind bars, after being charged over a string of break and enters in the Bulledelah and Seal Rocks areas.

The man was arrested late yesterday afternoon in Forster.

It follows the execution of a search warrant at Wootton in November, which allegedly uncovered stolen farm equipment.

The case has prompted this warning from police.

“rural properties that often people leave their premises without locking the houses unfortunately in today’s climate we do request people lock up when they leave the premises,”Chief Insp. John Sullivan said.
