DATE CHANGE FOR GRAFTON TO INVERELL

Next year’s Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic will now move to an autumn date for the first time in the race’s history.

The 56th event will be held on Saturday March 7, rather than the usual October race day.

Organisers say the change is a positive step for the 228 kilometre race, with several teams and lower grade riders agreeing with the new schedule.

This year’s race attracted more than 200 riders from across the country, with Melbourne cyclist Sean Lake claiming victory for the second year in a row., with Melbourne cyclist Sean Lake claiming victory for the second year in a row.
