A Lake Macquarie school girl’s humorous take on Christmas has taken out top prize in a local politician’s Christmas card competition.
Ten year old Jada Voight’s entry depicts Santa being chased by a shark.
It comes after numerous sightings in the lake this year and carries the warning “Look out Santa! It’s Lake Macquarie!
Federal Member for Charlton, Pat Conroy said the card was one of 400 entries and was a hit with his colleagues at Parliament House.
