We’ve enjoyed two glorious Spring days after the recent rain. From tomorrow the pendulum swings back the other way with a wave of heat set to move in for the rest of the week. Widespread 30 degree plus days will unfold with areas such as Moree likely to hit 40 degrees for at least three consecutive days. The heatwave will peak Friday with many locations set to reach the high 30s and low 40s. A southerly change will sweep through on Saturday, this will cool the coast considerably but inland there is only a 5 degree temperature drop across the NW Plains. We’ll enjoy cooler weather for the start of next week but a second less intense burst of heat will return next Wednesday.
