SEVERE STORMS DUMP HAIL ON CENTRAL AND COASTAL NSW.

Storms dumped hail on Sydney and parts of central and coastal NSW Friday afternoon, and the wet weather is forecast to continue into the weekend.

Hailstones measuring up to 2cm fell in the state’s north, and heavy rainfall for up to half an hour was recorded, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said.
