City Hall was packed today, as high-profile guest speaker Lisa Wilkinson addressed the Newcastle Business Club.
The Today Show co-host spoke of her unwaivering passion for journalism, despite the 24-7 news cycle and long hours.
“I just feel incredibly grateful to be in the position I’m in, this is the job that I could never ever even dared to think would be mine. I’m a girl from western suburbs of Sydney with an ordinary HSC pass.”
