Central North Rugby’s two year experiment with a tiered competition is over, following the weekend’s Annual General Meeting.
While the majority favoured maintaining the system, it didn’t get the required two-third of votes.
It means all 10 teams will play each other twice next season, rather than split into the top five and bottom five for the second half of the year.
