Unique artwork by refugee and Indigenous students from Orara High will soon be on show at the Cartoon Bunker.
The exhibition titled “Original Spirit” gives a snapshot of the lives of some of the students, many of who have fled their home countries.
“I like the freedom of it, when you paint you don’t care what’s going on, you don’t care who’s going to judge you.”
“Painting is like making my own world, something I can have in real life, but it painting it’s unlimited.”
The exhibition will be officially launched on Friday night.
