A 35 year old man will remain behind bars after being charged over an aggravated break and enter in Coolongolook in the early hours of this morning.
At about 12:30am the Bulahdelah man allegedly walked into the home and attempted to strangle a woman before threatening to burn down the house.
It’s alleged he also threatened another family member with a metal pole.
He’ll appear before Taree local court later this month.
