Hamilton’s Beaumont Street was transformed today for the annual Newcastle Chinese Festival.
It was all about bringing the community together to celebrate traditional and contemporary Chinese culture, through dance, food and art.
“Really working with the community here in particular the Hamilton Business Council and the busiensses, it’s very important that we’re a part of the community we belong too.”
The festival is organised by the Confucius Institute, at the University of Newcastle.
