NSW TREASURER VISITS ARMIDALE
New South Wales Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian paid a visit to Armidale today to meet with local businesses.
The first stop was at manufacturing company, Uni Plan, to discuss what regional businesses expect from the state government to promote industry growth.
“A company that started off with three people and now employing more than 100 and exporting their products all around Australia it’s a great local story, but also a good way to see how jobs can be created and how companies can grow here in a town like Armidale.”
Minister Berejiklian says regional areas play a huge role in the state’s economy.
“In regional New South Wales the trend is for a net jobs growth and that’s what we need to focus on, and there’s no doubt that there’ll always be challenges.”
