JETS HIT THE BEACH AFTER DRAW WITH ROAR

Fresh from an encouraging pre-season draw with the Roar, the Jets were back on home sand today for a unique recovery session.
The squad will continue its build up to the season later this week, with a clash with the Mariners in Orange.
“Getting a win before round one would be fantastic but slowly slowly we’re getting there and we’re on the right track and come round one we’ll be ready.”
Brazilian import Leonardo Santiago played 30 minutes against Brisbane, while keeper Mark Birighitti kept his first clean sheet against an A-League opposition in pre-season.
“To be honest with you I’m enjoying my football more than ever now, new faces, new coaches, it’s great. There’s a great feeling among the group.”
