School children in the Port Macquarie region will be able to cross roads more safely, with the installation of flashing lights.
Another 14 lights will be rolled out in the local area, to remind motorists to slow down.
Port Macquarie MP Leslie Williams says Roads and Maritime Services has been to working to ensure they’re installed at the most appropriate locations.
The government hopes to have them rolled out across the entire state by the end of the year.
