Four great white sharks have now been tagged, as part of a monitoring program on the North Coast.
The Department of Primary Industries has until the end of the year to gather as much data on the predators as possible.
It comes after a spate of recent attacks and sightings, which has put pressure on the government to put in place appropriate shark mitigation measures.
