After a perfect start to spring, the cloud has been rolling in today and rain is on the way.
A well-organised low is moving quickly across the south east.
Winds will pick up speed and become strong to gale force, with the stronger winds felt on the Central Coast and Hunter overnight on Thursday.
Rain totals won’t be big as the system is moving too quickly. Storm cells will also be a feature.
The low will move into the Tasman and generate more swell as it moves offshore. Some isolated coastal showers will linger into the weekend.
