Work is well underway on the Big Banana’s new water park, with flumes for the slides arriving on site.
The park’s management is hopeful the new attraction will help rejuvenate its image and attract more tourists travelling between Sydney and Brisbane.
“We’ve obviously been working towards doing that with the mini golf and laser tag, and spent a lot of money rejuvenating a lot of the property but I think this will certainly take it to the next level.”
The water park is due to open in Spring.
