ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF GLEN TURNER’S DEATH

Today marks one year since Tamworth man Glen Turner was fatally shot on a property near Moree.

On Friday, the Office of Environment and Heritage compliance officer’s name was added to the International Ranger Federation Honour Roll.

The list names around 60 people, who lost their lives on the job, from several countries across the globe.

Mr Turner’s family have also asked members of the Tamworth community to plant a tree in their own backyards, to remember him.
