New South Wales Waratahs Tamworth product Paddy Ryan has returned to the north west to spread awareness about mental health.
As a Batyr ambassador, he visited schools and rugby union clubs in Tamworth and Armidale to teach the importance of open communication.
“A lot of guys feel that they can’t talk, and they can’t share but quite often, that’s the best to avoid the worst situation is to speak.”
The 26 year old will return on September 12 with the Sydney Stars, as they take on the New South Wales Country Eagles in the National Rugby Championship.
