Police are appealing for information after a child was approached by a man in a vehicle at Forster.
About 2:30pm yesterday, a 9-year-old boy was walking along Panorama Drive when the driver of a white Toyota Hilux utility, called out and offered him a lift.
The boy ran from the location and alerted his parents.
Police would like to speak to the driver who is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance and aged between 30-40.
