LIFE SAVING SKILLS ON DISPLAY AT TERRIGAL

After getting off to a slow start this season, round three of the New South Wales Inflatable Rescue Boat Premiership Series took place at Terrigal today.

More than 270 competitors from 19 clubs throughout the state hit the water to show off their life saving skills.

“Really great conditions today for racing. Unfortunately, the first two rounds held at Caves Beach and Wingdam were called off due to conditions, so it’s the first big time we’ve been able to run through a lot of races today.”

The IRB series’ events are designed to simulate situations lifesavers face while on duty.
