Central Coast freediver Adam Stern has finished third at the Vertical Blue titles in the Bahamas.
The 26 year-old dived to 93 metres in the constant weight division with fins to record his first podium finish at the event.
He later set an Australian record by reaching 85 metres in the free immersion, where athletes pull down a line for propulsion.
Stern now heads to Columbia to compete later this month.
