CWA THROWS SUPPORT BEHIND MEDICINAL CANNABIS
Debate has heated up at the state Country Women’s Association AGM in Tamworth this week, with two motions regarding medicinal cannabis passed.
While it failed to get backing when discussed by the group in 1992, this year support has been thrown behind decriminalising the drug.
The first motion included supporting the medicinal use of the plant, while the second was in support of its growth and distribution.
The meeting wraps up tomorrow.
