Rail enthusiasts have started rolling into Maitland for the Hunter Valley Steamfest.
From tomorrow, it’s expected to attract more than 60,000 people, who’ll take a step back in time.
“We’ve got everything steam, we’ve got steam trains, steam buses, steam trucks, portable steam engines, mini steam engines, just a really great weekend celebrating all things steam.”
The Great Train Race will run on Sunday, with two steam engines running parallel, while racing a Tiger Moth aeroplane.
