Wyong Council has voted to establish a new water authority for its Local Government Area.
‘Wyong Water’ will now operate as a business within the council, following a review of water and sewer services.
The existing services will now be transferred to the new $105 million body.
The changes mean the service will no longer be subject to regulation by IPART.
