SAFETY WARNINGS FOR ROCK FISHERMEN THIS EASTER

Rock anglers along the NSW Coastline have been told to make safety a priority this weekend.

NSW Police, Surf Life Saving NSW and the Bureau of Meteorology have shared safety guidelines for the public.

Assistant Comissioner Mal Lanyon, said the Easter weeked is traditionally a busy time, especially for rock fishermen.

“We are expecting to see lots of anglers out this weekend, and while the current weather predictions are suitable, it can change at any moment,” Assistant Commissioner Lanyon said.
