Police have uncovered more than 10,000 ecstasy tablets hidden in a car at Gold Coast Airport.
Australian Federal Police searched the vehicle boot, after a man and woman – who were at the Terminal picking-up a friend – raised suspicion…
In the boot they allegedly found the pills…along with crystal-meth, a pipe and bullets.
“Certainly its a pretty good haul and its a great thing that our young people won’t be consuming these.They were destined for the street market, there’s no doubt about that.”
The woman was released on bail, her alleged accomplice remains behind bars.
A third man – also linked to the stash- was arrested after attending Court today to support his friends.
