There are calls for the Catholic Archbishop of Adelaide to stand aside until allegations he concealed child sex abuse by a paedophile priest are dealt with.
Philip Wilson has strenuously denied claims he did not report abuse committed by Jim Fletcher in the Hunter in the 1970s.
The 64-year-old archbishop has released a statement, saying he’s taken immediate leave.
