A 22-year-old Lambton man has been charged over the armed robbery of an auto parts store at Mayfield West.
A man entered the store on Maitland Road on Boxing Day armed with a gun and threatened staff, before leaving with a sum of money.
It’s alleged another man waited across the road with a motorbike which was used as a getaway vehicle.
Police arrested the man on Monday at Lambton, and charged him with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon.
He’ll face court tomorrow.
