PUPPIES BASHED AND DUMPED AT KURRI

In a shocking case of animal cruelty, seven puppies were bashed and dumped in bushland at Kurri Kurri.

The RSPCA was called to the site off McLeod Road at around 5pm yesterday, where they found the tan and white-coloured Bull Arab cross puppies.

Five died from critical head injuries, while two were in urgent need of treatment.

Sadly, another died on the way to the vet.

The RSPCA is appealing for anyone with information to come forward, after a witness reported seeing a red Holden Commodore with P-plates at the location.
