NO GAMING TAX RISE FOR CLUBS UNDER COALITION
The Baird Government has announced if elected, gaming taxes will not be increased for the next four years.
In Coffs Harbour, Nationals MP Andrew Fraser signed a memorandum of understanding with local clubs representative John Rafferty.
C’ex Group CEO John said “It provides certainty for the clubs so that we know and can plan and budget for the future, that we can enhance our facilities.”
Mr Fraser said,”The revenue that comes out of this means that $128 million is being returned to community groups via Clubs New South Wales.”
He says the deal should protect the jobs of 500 staff employed by clubs in the Coffs region.
