WEATHER: AUTUMN AWESOMENESS

This is my favourite time of the year and the first week of March is living up to expectations. Mornings have been cool and the days sunny and warm.

The only catch is, it’s getting hotter inland, exacerbating the drought situation.

An early Autumn heatwave is unfolding across the nation’s interior and some of that heat is spilling across the North West. It’s also affecting inland areas such as the Upper Hunter and cities like Taree, Kempsey and Grafton.

The coast will be fanned by gusty afternoon seabreezes. Ocean temperatures are warm so it’s great for a swim.

The fine run should continue for most of the week.
