POLICE SCOUR BUSHLAND AS PART OF INVESTIGATION INTO MISSING MAN

Police are searching bushland near Magenta on the Central Coast, as part of their investigation into a man who’s been missing for almost two decades.

61-year-old Ronald Penn was last seen at his Bateau Bay home on October 12, 1995.

Tuggerah Lakes detectives joined specialist units in scouring bushland today, with the search to recommence at 8am tomorrow.

In October last year, police charged a 43-year-old Killarney Vale man with being an accessory after the fact to the murder of Mr Penn.

He remains in custody and will face Gosford Local Court later this month.

Police are asking anyone with information into Mr Penn’s disappearance to contact Crime Stoppers.
