CENTRAL COAST TO HELP SET WORLD RECORD

More than 1,000 young athletes will gather on the Central Coast tomorrow, in a bid to set a new world record.

They’ll be attempting to break the record for the most children participating in a single triathlon.

The Weet-Bix Kids Triathlon was launched in November last year and will see more than 40,000 children take part around the country.

Socceroos captain, Tim Cahill, will be on the Central Coast to cheer on athletes.

The event will be held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre, from 9am.
