GRAZING TRIAL TO INVESTIGATE REMEDIATED MINE’S USE AS PASTURE

Tensions between farmers and mine operators in the Upper Hunter could ease, thanks to a new trial.

A herd of cattle will spend the next four years grazing at a remediated mine site, to see if such land can be used for agricultural purposes.
