NEW YEARS DAY TRAGEDY ON CENTRAL COAST BEACH

There’s been a new year’s day tragedy on a Central Coast beach, with a man in his 60s drowning at North Entrance.

He’d been swimming outside of the patrolled area, and was pulled from the surf at about 2:40pm.

Surf lifesavers attempted to resuscitate the man, but he was later pronounced dead.
