Gai Waterhouse’s horse New Wings has pressed her claim for a start in the Magic Millions next month on the Gold Coast after comfortably taking out the opening race today at Gosford.
Despite lining up for her debut race, New Wings, who is the sister of the highly-rated sprinter Religify, lead from start to finish over the 1000 metre distance.
“New Wings, Fireworks, Alucinari, New Wings just in front, New Wings, New Wings goes all the way, three quarters to Fireworks a length or so away.”
