Taree and Forster’s upcoming Stan Austin Cricket Carnival will be played a week earlier than usual.
The state-wide Under 16’s event has had to be moved forward, due to a scheduling clash with another Under 16’s event – the Bradman Cup, which will be held in Maitland.
Six-regions will contest the carnival this time around, with West Pennant Hills returning for the first time in four years.
Mid North Coast is the hot favourite to win, having claimed the last three carnivals.
Play gets underway on Monday January five.
