A cleanup is underway on the Pacific Highway at Lake Munmorah after a four wheel drive towing a trailer caught fire.
No one was injured in the blaze which broke out about 1pm.
Traffic slowed around the scene of the emergency and despite the efforts of fire fighters the vehicle was extensively damaged.
