A newly formed Dr Who Fan Club is gathering momentum as fanatics from all over the Hunter today met for the first time.
The cult science fiction series is 51 years old this year and still attracts people from all ages and walks of life.

Umm no – Dr Who first started in 1963, when I was 1. the 50th anniversary was last year – 2013. So it now being 2014 makes Dr Who 51 – or else the BBC must have made a mistake
