STUDENTS EXPERIENCE DISABILITY SECTOR

High School students from the Central Coast were given a taste of what it’s like to work in the disability sector at a workshop in Gosford today.

Designed by the National Disability Service, Project Able aims to educate and inspire young people to work in the disability sector.

“The feedback that we get from all of the students is they really get a lot out of it, we get some students coming back to Northcott as volunteers, and that’s really good, so we give them that opportunity to put their toe in the water and see what it’s like to work in the disability sector.”

Today was the first time the workshop was held on the Central Coast.
