The consistent afternoon and evening storm development is ready to ramp up another gear over the next 24 hours and better rain is expected across most of the region. So far it has been hit and miss with some locations doing very well while others close by have hardly received any significant downpours. This is the case with this atmospheric set-up. The good news is, by the time it comes to end next week, most areas of the broadcast region will have received some decent rain but there’s a catch. The severe storms are likely to cause some damage. The rain and storms are set to ease off during Sunday. From next Monday the rain is expected to ramp back up again with decent follow up falls continuing into the middle of next week.
