Laurieton’s Shelley Watts has been knocked out in the quarter finals of the Womens World Boxing Championship in South Korea.
Watts was defeated by Azerbaijan’s Yana Allekseevna, who won all three-rounds.
It means the 27-year-old will return home without a medal.
Shelley has congratulated her opponent on a good fight, but says she is disappointed with her performance and is promising to come back stronger.
