Two people have been taken to hospital following a unit fire at North Gosford this morning.
Fire and Rescue New South Wales were called to the Gertrude Street complex at around 11 o’clock and found the ground floor apartment well alight.
20 people were evacuated from the building, while a woman in her 70s and a man in his 30s are being treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation at Gosford Hospital.
Fire fighters have extinguished the blaze.
