Staff at alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre – The Glen – say there’s been a sharp increase in the use of methamphetamines on the Central Coast.
A National Drug Strategy Household Survey has the shown use of crystal methamphetamine or ice has more than doubled in three years.
It comes as a state-based survey in the Northern Territory shows the drug is also on the rise in indigenous communities.
