The representative basketball season may be in recess but an event held in Coffs Harbour over the weekend attracted plenty of interest.
More than 170 players in 42 teams took part in the local association’s first 3-on-3 North Coast Junior Carnival.
Each team was made up of three players responsible for both attack and defence.
The games are played on a smaller court and last only ten minutes.
Coffs Harbour had four winning teams while Port Macquarie and Bellingen had one win each.
